The HICA is pleased to announce the new academic year of the Iran School.  The school term starts on Saturday 12th September.  Doors will be open from 11am for classes and registration at Belmont First School.

13th September 2008 was day of joy and happiness for over 120 students of Iran School. Some of the students who joined the school at the age of 5-7 are now well over 15 years of age. In many cases, their command of Persian language is simply amazing, thanks to their hard work, devoted teachers and family care and enthusiasm. 14 students passed their GCSE and A levels exam with A and A* marks. 13th July 2008 was a memorable day for students, parents and teachers of the Iran School. Apart from dance performance by students of the year one, all students who had successfully finished the curriculum were awarded the certificates. The day coincided with HICA’s Annual General Meeting and members present had a chance to meet teachers and volunteers of the Association. For pictures taken on the day, please see the gallery.

A Live musical performance by Daryoush Alvand & Nikpo Music Production. Festivities include a traditional fire, music, dance, magic show and a variety of Iranian style food and sandwiches including Ash-e-Reshte.

Once again HICA celebrated Chahar Shanbe Soory at Kadwa Centre, Kenmore Avenue, Harrow Wealdstone. There was Live Music, Real fire, Ash-Reshte, Music, dance, Magic show and a variety of Iranian style food and Sandwiches. Entry Tickets were priced at: £10 for adults and £5 for 5-12 year.
