Harrow Iranian Community Association is pleased to announce its 14th consequent celebration of ‘Charshanbe Soory’ (The last Wednesday of the Iranian solar calendar year 1390). The event celebrated on the 13th of March at 7 pm, signifies the starting point for elaborated festivities of the down of New year that begins on the 21st of March 2012. It is a family event and we strongly recommend your participation and welcoming introduction to Iranian cultural life. The Harrow Iranian Community Association is proud to present this years
Chahar Shanbe Soory celebrations.

A Live musical performance by the Arshya group and also featuring traditional flute (ney) music from south of Iran.
Festivities include a traditional fire, music, dance, and a variety of Iranian style food and sandwiches including Ash-e-Reshte.

Also featuring Norooz Bazar, a selection of stalls providing traditional sweets , cakes
and Aajil, sofreyeh haftsin, and all your essential norooz needs..

Date: Tuesday 15th March 2011
Time:7pm-11.30pm
Venue: Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre.
Price : £10 in advance (£12 on the door), Children Under 5’s Free.

Once again HICA celebrated Chahar Shanbe Soory at Kadwa Centre, Kenmore Avenue, Harrow Wealdstone. There was Live Music, Real fire, Ash-Reshte, Music, dance, Magic show and a variety of Iranian style food and Sandwiches. Entry Tickets were priced at: £10 for adults and £5 for 5-12 year.
